    Carolyn Wnuk, MSW, LICSW

    Child and Adolescent Therapist

    Carolyn has been working as a School Adjustment Counselor for the past five years. She has experience working with students (K-12) with severe social and emotional needs. Carolyn also has experience as a child and adolescent Bereavement Counselor facilitating individual and group bereavement activities. In addition, Carolyn has experience as a Lead Preschool Teacher and Early Intervention Teacher.

    Hillary Taglienti, M.Ed.

    Special Educator, Educational Consultant, and Skills Coach

    Hillary has experience working in the public school system with students with disabilities for ten years. She has worked with elementary, middle, high school, and post-graduate age students. Hillary has worked with students with moderate as well as severe disabilities. In addition to public school experience, Hillary has experience with the Institute for Community Inclusion working with students in their Inclusive Concurrent Enrollment Program. Hillary runs social and skills groups as well as provides individual services focused on Executive Functioning, social thinking, emotional regulation, coping skills, and more!

    Megan Boelzner, MSW, LICSW

    Child and Adolescent Therapist

    Megan has over a decade of experience working with children and youth in a variety of recreational, educational and therapeutic settings. Her collaborative approach draws from evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child-Parent Psychotherapy. Megan combines empathy and humor in sessions, providing a comfortable and non-judgmental setting for children and youth to understand and cope with anxiety, depression and other challenges.

    Angela Silva, M.S., LABA

    Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst and Skills Coach

    Angela has experience as a Behavior Therapist at in-home ABA agencies for three years providing behavioral services to children who are on the Autism Spectrum. Angela also works at a public school as a Licensed Applied Behavioral Analyst (LABA) with children on the Autism Spectrum as well as children who have social/emotional and behavioral disorders. She has experience working with early intervention aged children as well as school aged children. Angela has experience teaching Social Skills and Emotional Regulation groups as well as providing individual services related to those skills. Angela is an extremely passionate and dedicated therapist.

    Cassie Kuzmanoff, MSW

    Child and Adolescent and Family Therapist

     

    Originally from Chicago, Cassie has worked with children and families for the past seven years. Cassie has also worked with children that have been diagnosed with severe mental illness and experienced trauma. Cassie has experience as a Domestic Violence Counselor and has facilitated individual and group activities for families. She has also provided supervised visitation for the safety and well-being of families and children who have experienced domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault . Cassie is a very welcoming and compassionate therapist.

    Cassie is also a reiki practitioner having been reiki 2 attuned in 2015. Reiki is used facilitate deep relaxation, relieve pain, and promote healing and personal growth.

    Danielle has been working as a Elementary/Middle School Principal for the past ten years. She was a School Adjustment Counselor and Special Educator prior to her years as an Administrator. Danielle has experience working with children and adolescents (K-12), Families, Couples, Mothers/Daughters, Individuals or Groups. She has also taught parenting, social skills, study skills and career counseling classes.

    “Coach” David Ulm

    Coping Coach

    David has spent much of the past 17 years working with youth and adolescents. He is currently working as a certified school counselor! In a public school setting as well as a private Coping Coach, at Compass, he is working on a daily basis to help children in need. He specializes in teaching emotional regulation and coping strategies. David teaches effective strategies that allow child/adolescents to gain confidence and thrive despite anxiety, ADHD, and social challenges. David is also enjoys running social skill groups!

     

    Aside from being a school counselor and a Coping Coach, David has also spent many years working as a soccer coach. Serving the community youth and their families through sport. He believes that counseling support and healing can come in a variety of ways, and incorporates that mentality into his counseling.

    Heather Ross, MS OTR/ L

    Occupational Therapist

    Heather has been an occupational therapist for the past 22 years. She has experience within a range of settings from physical rehabilitation to the public school system. In the past, Heather has worked with adults providing cognitive rehabilitation to individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) due to stroke, motor vehicle accidents, post concussive syndrome and carbon monoxide poisoning. Treatment has included re-teaching prior learned skills that were lost due to trauma.

     

    Additionally, she has worked with students from preschool through high school to address sensory processing, self regulation, executive function, fine motor coordination, visual motor, visual spatial, and visual perceptual skills. She works closely with the school counselors in their quest to teach self regulation skills and provides input in supporting students with internal and external strategies. Heather provides individualized or small group therapy, conducts informal and formal assessments and provides consultative services.

     

    Heather has a registered therapy dog named Berklee, who is a Beagle Foxhound mix. Berklee has a sweet disposition which allows her to gently provide comfort and support to all within her reach.
